The AIDS epidemic in South Africa has claimed 350,000 lives according to UNAIDS.  With an estimated 5.7 million infected, South Africa has the largest number of people in need of care in the world.  To help address critical challenges that South Africa faces, SA Partners is working to adapt U.S. best practices that have been identified by South African colleagues.  As we join local partners to implement these programs, we are also using these new activities to focus on strengthening local capacity to better manage the epidemic.
