Thank you for your interest in South Africa Partners. The "Reconnecting South Africans with South Africa" initiative was born out of a discussion that we recently had with a number of South African expatriates living in the Boston area. Many felt that there is a need for an opportunity that will provide an avenue to reconnect with South Africa in order to "give back" to South Africa.
Please be advised that this is not a fundraising initiative. The premise of this idea is for South African expatriates to:
- seek avenues to meet and creatively explore ways that each of their professional skills, both individually and collectively, could meaningfully assist South Africa's evolving society and challenges, and
- use each of their networks and strong connections in their respective fields in ways that could be hugely beneficial to what South Africa needs going forward.
