Thembi Ngubane-Zungu honored with Jakes Gerwel Award in Public Health

The University of the Western Cape School of Public Health honors our Deputy Country Director, Thembi Ngubane-Zungu with the prestigious Jakes Gerwal Award in Public Health.  

As a person living with HIV, Thembi dedicates her life to fighting for access to appropriate health care.  Thembi is an integral part of South Africa Partners.  She oversees our national programs advocating for the inclusion of people living with AIDS in community and government programs.
