Menzi Hadebe

Menzi has been involved and worked with highly recognised institutes like MTN (Microbicide Trial Network), HVTN (HIV/AIDS Trial Network) and HPTN (HIV/AIDS Prevention Trial Network). He fully understands and operates under DAIDS (Division of AIDS) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines, and works very closely with SHARP (Statistical Centre for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention). Menzi also participates on conference calls for project planning and progress. In the majority of time spent in Clinical Research, he was responsible for ensuring the quality of data, working very close with international bodies like Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), Statistical Centre for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention (SHARP) and Division of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (DAIDS) in making sure that the study maintain the expected quality and also complied with International Ethics Regulations. He also ensures that the security level for participants’ information is highly maintained and it is aligned with international standard as per Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
