Facilitating meaningful partnerships between the United States and South Africa since 1998.
“In the long run the special contribution to the world by Africa will be in the field of human relationships. The great powers of the world may have done wonders in giving the world an industrial and military look, but the great gift still has to come from Africa – giving the world a more human face.” - Steve Biko
The dream of a free, democratic, non-racial, non-sexist South Africa inspired the establishment of South Africa Partners and continues to energize our efforts. With a shared history and deep ties that continue to grow, the U.S. and South Africa have many opportunities for mutual engagement. The challenges that South Africa faces are ones that we also face here at home. Together we can find new solutions that will help us address seemingly intractable problems that have left to many of our communities without opportunity or support.
